Blast ended scroots 50 Hobgoblins 8

You see what happens when I mention experimental drugs - everybody wants some!
And still I share - although it does look as though I'm getting more than my fair share.

I'm the one at the far right looking blissful - it's the hair thing.

Seriously I'm heading in to Kings 1st thing tomorrow, going to the Guthrie private ward for a bit of continuous chemo to try and reduce those scroots to a proper 5 and with the 2 bags of blood I have ordered that should take my hobgoblins up to 12???
Sounds like a better score 12- 5.
I will be in there for at least 3 weeks and the hope is that this will get me in to position for transplant and no time will be lost we'll just go straight in to it. So really could be a long time before I'm out again..... still it'll be worth it.

I am hopeful of internet connection but if not I'll just get Russ to regularly synch the laptop so please please keep writing to me it will inspire me !!! and keep me going.

Great news Moira - tarty photo!
I'm getting a Starbucks tomorrow - so I'll think of you! Going to Edinburgh for a couple of days to catch up with Mum and recharge batteries.
Blair is in Alex for a couple of days with school and Ian and ory plan to watch a lot of football - so sounds like no one will miss me! Wait till I don't share my sausages!

Nice photo Mo...agree with all previous comments! And to think a mother of 3...what would your mother say? Well you were always the wild one!

I spoke to a Nigerian colleague today who took your name to add to his groups prayer list. Apparently they have some prayer masters (or something like that). He also said (amongst other stuff)..'if you want it, you got to believe' (Wasn't that a Lenny Kravitz song - maybe you should listen to that to inspire!) In terms of Positive thinking...Remember Tom Cruise in the film Cocktail (I know, not a good analogy but I remember him going on about PMA and how positive he was about something that he believed in)....I'm sure you are a believer but I can imagine it's easy for doubt to set in when you have weeks like last week and you fight this force inside yur body. You know there's a heck of a lot of group 'will' helping or behind you on this one Mo..take strength from that and remember that every day as you go into this next stage!

Don't listen to her! It was lemonade and they were special straws! The dancing and uproarious laughter that followed was an indication of the sheer innocent joy of it all!
