Quiet day with drugs.
Claire came yesterday, it was lovely just to have that stillness. Russ will come soon then perhaps we can have that quiet too.
Everything going according to plan with no major complications so far (TOUCH WOOD).
All I focus on is the day, and, that glass of water I can swallow. Pain is around, but controlled, sleep ever present, love in my heart

Dear Moira,
I'm sorry that I haven't written for so very long. Not a day goes by that you aren't in my thoughts and with your incredible blog it feels as though we are much closer. I don't know how you keep it up but it means so much to so many.
Day 12--you have come so far and have so much to look forward to. Stay strong and we are all thinking of you, Russ and the boys.
Great news with respect to the house--looks absolutely lovely.
We've just returned from a few days in Barcelona and then a week in Mallorca. Nice break--Sam spent the entire time outside, climbing trees, catching bugs, etc. Cool compared to Cairo but very pleasant.
Off to Vienna this weekend for the marathon. Will be fantastic to catch up with Karen. I believe Sam and Toby are doing a sleepover. It's just not the same here without you two.
I have to dash and collect the kids from school and start the usual afternoon rounds of dropping for playdates, guitar lessons, etc. Missing you and sending all of our love, J x

We have an ant issue, thought I'd left them all behind in Cairo, but thankfully no rats!! At least I suppose it means summer is almost upon us, temps on the up...
Busy baking for tomorrow is "Teacher Appreciation Day" and the children have to go in with food and flowers. I'll say no more!!
We'll all be singing to you in the morning so listen out...mine's the out of tune voice amongst the 3 little cherubs. Phil will be doing the same from Munich, he's the really out of tune one!!
You are doing so well every day I am amazed by your resilience, I knew you would but even so you are incredible. Keep at it girl! It's all that love flowing out and in....stay strong and I'll see you on Saturday - can't wait.
