It is now 5:30 P.M. in Alaska and I am hoping that since it is 2:30 a.m. U.K. you are sound asleep and doing that snoring thing,and reading this after a great repose.

I think of you daily, and pray all the time. I watched a morning chat show yesterday, and they brought a 3-yr. post-transplant together with her donor. She looked as healthy as a horse!!

I have a friend who made a comment yesterday about something she was going through that was upsetting her, and she said "God wouldn't lead me to it, unless he was going to lead me through it." Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Had Rebecca's 8th b'day party today..pirate party...the whole class...had a great time though. Then straight after rushed to the hairdressers to get ready for the Rugby Desert Ball tonight! Remember last year and how great it was? It's 4.30pm and 34 degrees celcius so it might not be as hot as last year thankgoodness! Sandy and I will be thinking of you and Russ tonight (at least Russell won't be flying around the desert this year!!!!).

Just writting this to let you know we think of you often and keep up with your progress on the blog.

We thought you might be amused by our water story.

We recently had our garden landscaped and a pond built. After a few months of waiting everything was finished and we were given the OK to fill the pond with water. This done, last Friday, we went to bed. Saturday morning we got up to an empty pond!!! We suspected aliens or perhaps that giant elephant that was in London last weekend had paid us a visit! Unfortunately we seem to have a mundane leak (that no-one can see)! The builder was somewhat disbelieving when we contacted him.

We'll continue to think of you often and try and comment on your blog more often.

Nurse Lynda aka Brownie Camp chef, Hannah Brownie helper and Libby actual Brownie are all off to Tomintoul Brownie camp.....after this weeks Mediterranean temps snow is actually forecast for the weekend. I'm off, all leather clad, riding pillion on a big loop of the North West highlands . Lunch booked in a wee seafood restaurant near Scourie and Handa Island with a coffee stop in the Ceilidh Place in Ullapool later in the day.This is a recon for a future Smith-Munro beach/gourmet trip!!!

Hey Mo, sorry you've had a nasty few days and hope you got some sleep in that strange room last night - let's pray those kidneys kick start into action very soon and you can get back to your normal surroundings. Good that Mum's staying on with you - of course she will wander off this afternoon for that FA Cup Final - how she will ooh and aah at every one of West Ham's moves. Remember how she used to be when she ironed on a Saturday afternoon and listened to the matches on the radio? She got so excited and ended up weilding the iron like a lethal weapon! Amazing she didn't burn huge holes in our clothes. Anyway, I'm going out to sort Royal Scot - having restored the pc back to it's original microsoft office set up, the broadband or modem drivers don't seem to work so he is desperately offline!!! Anyway, I will send him back to see his little Hobgoblin very soon. Off to worship at the shrine of marks and spencer now - Jim home from Carolina later today - take care my brave lovely and huge hugs as always, Jane xxxxxxx

Snoring is obvoiusly a pastime for the intelligent. It tells us (and others) that we are asleep and should not be disturbed. Then, when you do that really big one (that is actually a snort) it wakes you up and when you look around everyone is looking at you because they are so pleased to see you awake again!

So, keep snoring, snorting - whatever it takes to get you better.

well "Rugby Ball" or "Dinner Dance at the Pyramids" ....whatever you like to call it was absolutely wonderful but for all different reasons to last year. Really missed you and Russell this year....goes without saying. Wanted to let you in on something, remember how Sandy won 1st Prize in the Raffle last year....well guess who won 2nd Prize this year???? ME!!! Big surprise! We only bought 6 tickets and there were 700 people!!! Against all odds my ticket came through.....see statistics don't always come work which is why you are doing so well and beating those odds! Sandy won tickets to London last year and 5 star accom for 2 nights......I however, won a Xerox Laser Copier and Scanner .... the first thing everyone said to me was "could they be the first to sit on it and scan their youknowwhat"!!!! It was a great laugh.

All the best to those kidneys kicking in.

Have failed miserably with Royal Scot (Rosy - I like King Malcolm though - good name) anyway his drivers just aren't loading! so there's nothing for it but to put him on that plane tomorrow so he can help on the sidelines, supporting Mum and the superhero Russ. It's hell and back at the moment Russ - can't begin to imagine how you are feeling - just know that we're all hanging here, feeling helpless, useless and sending every prayer to get those damned kidneys going so Mo can come back to herself. Neil has started his highers and will be finished next Friday. That end of exam feeling is what we are looking forward to, as you are working toward your winning of the battle. By the way, Neil enjoyed running round Balmoral in his kilt and we have the photos. And he raised a bunch of money for the ANT. It was a good distraction from the studying, what studying? Tom is playing wicket keeper for his cricket team so that keeps him busy.

I am just about to do my weekly food shop then the kids and the two untrained terriers are off to the park for a walk before it rains. We are trying not to make any noise as Trev is asleep only back from his travels this morning.How do I stop terriers yapping and why do kids make so much noise going up and down stairs?????

Hi Moira, hope you are sleeping right now - the body heals when it is sleeping - got that straight from my personal trainer manual! - so it is right!
It has suddenly gone up 5 degrees here - it is no longer spring - air conditioners have to go on now - breaks my Scottish heart!
Hope you managed to get a visit from Heike, she's such a nice lady.
Caught up on the details via Karen today - great news that the blood is kicking in - you're definetly on the homeward journey now and you need to keep thinking about how far you have come and how strong you have been so far.
